Total consumer spending on St. Patrick’s Day (Sunday, March 17) will grow by 3.7% this year to slightly exceed $4.7 billion, per the National Retail Federation (NRF). According to the NRF survey, 56% of Americans will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day this year, with 18-24-year-olds (77.3%) twice as likely as those 65 and older (38.9%) to do so.
